The various charging hubs
Entent tent network

The need is there, the technology is there and the transport sector is keen to become more sustainable. But the infrastructure needs to be reliable and clear. Entent is going to roll out a Europe-wide charging network to help make the transport sector more sustainable. In the process, Entent and its hubs will focus on making life easier for carriers by offering high charging outputs, spacious charging locations and reserved spaces. The Entent charging network is optimally set up for professional use and consists of various locations spread across Europe. The locations are strategically positioned next to motorways, major business parks and in and around major cities. The decision as to which location is the best fit will be made based on available physical space, available electrical power and potential in the region.

Entent is going to utilize the grid connection through strategic collaboration. This approach not only makes it possible to handle the significant amount of energy from major consumers efficiently but also develop existing landholdings at a fast rate. Collaboration with powerful grid connections would mean that 90% of the TEN-T network would be covered. Entent’s European charging network will provide approximately 220 charging hubs with over 1,700 charging points.

An overview of the six base locations that are covered in detail in the following sections:

Tabel charging hubs

Ranging from small areas with charging facilities to a major charging hub for electric trucks and electric vans, by being flexible with a location, every place is a business model and each charging hub will help make the European transport network more sustainable.

Six charging hubs have been developed in order to ensure a fast rollout of the Entent network. Each of these hubs can be further adapted and tailored to users’ specific requirements. This flexibility combined with the strategic positioning of the locations will ensure that Entent is able to respond quickly to the growing demand for sustainable transport solutions in Europe.

Entent is going to utilise the grid connection through strategic collaboration. This approach not only makes it possible to handle the significant amount of energy from major consumers efficiently but also to develop existing landholdings at a fast rate.

It will mean a diversification of income for companies. In addition, they will optimise their energy consumption better by operating in peak and off-peak patterns, for example. Companies will also become more sustainable and more socially responsible for sharing their renewable energy sources. This can improve their image and tie in with greener business agreements.
